Prof. Wenbing Zhao

Cleveland State University, USA                

             

Introduction:                                 

Dr. Wenbing Zhao is a full Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) at Cleveland State University [CSU], Cleveland, Ohio, USA. He obtained his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Physics from Peking University, Beijing, China, in 1990 and 1993, respectively, and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of California, Santa Barbara, in 1998 and 2002, respectively. Prior to joining Cleveland State University in 2004, Dr. Zhao worked as a post-doctoral researcher at University of California, Santa Barbara, and as a senior research engineer/chief architect at Eternal Systems, Inc. (now dissolved), which he co-founded in 2000.

Dr. Zhao has done research in several different areas, including distributed computing, computer and network security, blockchains, smart and connected healthcare, machine learning, Internet of Things, quantum optics and superconducting physics. Dr. Zhao's recent research has been funded by the National Science Foundation, US Department of Energy, US Department of Education, Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation, Ohio Department of Higher Education, Ohio Advancement Office (via the Ohio Third Frontier Program), US Department of Transportation (via CSU Transportation Center), Cleveland State University, and private companies.

Prof. Ruiyen Yu

Northeastern University, China.                

             

Introduction:                                 

Dr. Ruiyun Yu is currently a professor and vice dean of the Software College at Northeastern University, China. He worked as a visiting scholar in the University of California, Irvine, and the University of Texas at Arlington. He is now a chief expert of the Industrial Internet Innovative Development Engineering Project of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China, and the vice chair of the Blockchain Governance Working Group of IEEE Standard Association. He serves as the LiaoNing Revitalization Talent, the Baiqianwan Talent of Liaoning Province (Hundred-Talent Level), and the Leading Talents of Shenyang. He is the Outstanding Science and Technology Worker of Liaoning Province.His research interests include time series data analysis, computer vision, industrial internet, digital twins, etc. He has been leading 25 projects funded by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China, the National Natural Science Foundation Committee of China, the Ministry of Education of China, etc. He has published more than 100 papers on high-quality journals and conferences, including TKDE, TOSN, INFOCOM, ICCV, etc. He received the Best Paper Award from IEEE MSN 2013. He is also a winner of a series of academic awards, such as the Second Prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of China Instrument and Control Society, the Second prize of National Teaching Achievement Award of China, the First prize of Liaoning Provincial Teaching Achievement Award, and so on.

Prof. Zhaolong Ning, IEEE Senior Member

Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, China                

             

Introduction:                                 

He was graduated from Northeastern University and Kyushu University of Japan jointly train doctors, postdoctoral fellow of the University of Hong Kong, and served as lecturer and associate professor at Dalian University of Technology.

The main research directions are mobile Internet of Things, intelligent edge computing and future communication networks.

Selected: the world's highly cited scientists (Kerui Weian), the China Association for Science and Technology's "Young Talent Promotion Project", the world's AI 2000 AI most influential scholar (the 70th in the world in the field of the Internet of Things), China's highly cited scholars (Elsevier), Chongqing's talents - young top talents, Xiangjiang scholars, the top five outstanding scientific and technological workers of the Chongqing Institute of Electronics, ACM academic new stars, ACM Youbo, and Dalian's young science and technology stars.

Prof. Wenjian Luo

Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen, China

             

Introduction:                                 

Wenjian Luo received the BS and PhD degrees from Department of Computer Science and Technology, University of Science and Technology of China, Hefei, China, in 1998 and 2003. He is presently a professor of School of Computer Science and Technology, Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen, China. His research interest is artificial intelligence and applications. He mainly focuses on the secure intelligent systems, especially the fundamental algorithms and techniques of machine learning, immune computing, swarm intelligence, and the applications of artificial intelligence in security and privacy, data mining, dynamic and multi-objective optimization. He has published more than 100 international journal and conference papers. He is a distinguished member of CCF and a senior member of IEEE, ACM and CAAI. He currently serves as an associate editor or editorial board member for several journals including Information Sciences Journal, Swarm and Evolutionary Computation Journal, Journal of Information Security and Applications, Applied Soft Computing Journal, and Complex \& Intelligent Systems Journal. He served as the chair of the IEEE CIS ECTC Task Force on Artificial Immune Systems from 2018 to 2022. He has been a member of the organizational team of more than twenty academic conferences, in various functions, such as general chair, program chair, symposium chair, tutorial chair and publicity chair.

Dr. Jiang Yunzhi                      

Guangdong Polytechnic Normal University, China

              

Introduction:                                               

Jiang Yunzhi, PhD, Associate professor, master supervisor, received the Ph.D. degree in computer science from South China University of Technology, Guangzhou, China, in 2012. He studied in University of Technology Sydney, Australia and University of Alberta, Canada. He was invited to visit Tsinghua University in Taiwan as a senior visiting scholar. His research interests include Computational Intelligence, Image Segmentation, Data Mining, Neural Networks, Manifold Learning, etc. IEEE Member, Member of China Society of Industrial and Applied Mathematics. He presided over one project of National Natural Science Foundation (youth) and one project of Guangdong Provincial Education Department, and participated in many research projects of National Natural Science Foundation and Natural Science Foundation projects of Guangdong Province and Jiangxi Province. He has published more than 30 papers in international high quality academic journals and conferences, such as Journal of Computer Science, Journal of Computer-aided Design and Graphics, SCI Q1, SCI Q2.
